Michael Carvin's Full Bio

Since 2010, Michael Carvin is lead for User Experience Strategy and Design at at BracketUX as where he provides user experience research, strategy and design consulting services, including: project planning, usability testing (remote and in-person, moderated and unmoderated), service design analysis, accessibility analysis, web metrics analysis, product planning, user-centric taxonomy design, and prototyping. Clients include working with LinkedIn, American Red Cross, United Concordia Dental, Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger, and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania where he led user experience aspects of a $300,000 NEH grant, including project strategy post-award. He managed all facets of client engagement including design engagements and client relationships, including pre-sales consults, engagement pricing, proposals, statements of work, project management and invoicing. Prior to BracketUX, Michael serverd leading roles at Red Pivot, LCC, Rock River Star, Trellist and Peterson's. Michaell also served as Chair for PhillyCHI (ACM/SIG-CHI) for 2010 and 2011.
